My name is Amelie Klee, but that is not the name you will know me by. When I was little, around three or four, and not yet gifted with the skills required to transform thoughts into characters on a page. I had already decide that I would be a writer. My name however, my name just wasn’t right. When I looked at all the books upon our shelves none of the names sounded like mine.
So I fashioned myself a new name. Jackley Cothlin.
I grew up in Johannesburg South Africa, behind the sheltered grey walls of my parents house.
For a very long time writing was my only tether to this floating ball of gas. My escape into the worlds I longed to be a part of.
Little did I know, that far across the sea, my fairytale waited for me to find it.
A magic I had not believed in for a very long time.
I hope that with this story you too shall understand its beauty
