“Is that blood under your nose? Are you okay?” he worriedly asked. She wanted to laugh. She wondered if they were already this close to worry about each other.
Her head turned to face him. A little smile stretched over her lips. “Its fine, that’s just the red pen for correction. Looks like I accidently drew on myself.” The glint in his eyes shifted, but she couldn’t decipher the emotion behind his eyes. “Why were you even working so late for school?”
She didn’t even know the answer for herself.
A false smile danced on her lips. “I work best at night.”
